Template:YYMMDD Sentence 1

Usage

This template generates an opening sentence for YYMMDD or YYYYMMDD date pages. It requires Module:YYMMDDSentence1 to work.

Basic usage

{{YYMMDD_Sentence_1}}

On a page named "251127", this produces:

November 27 2025 was the fourth Thursday of the month

With specific date

{{YYMMDD_Sentence_1|251130}}

Produces:

November 30 2025 was the fifth Sunday of the month

With 8-digit year format

{{YYMMDD_Sentence_1|20251130}}

Produces:

November 30 2025 was the fifth Sunday of the month

Parameters

• 1 (optional): YYMMDD or YYYYMMDD date string. Defaults to current page name.
