HFGCS Wiki documents information about Emergency Action Messages, the United States' High Frequency Global Communications System that is used to broadcast it, and other things relevant to these two topics by only so many degrees of separation. The Wiki is not open to public editing yet, as work is underway to establish a basic set of articles and framework, a general tone/voice for the wiki, and generally set up a set of things for potential contributors to be consistent with. A blank slate can be pretty useless when it comes to getting things going, and there's also the risk of letting someone put a lot of effort into something before anyone has a chance to look at it and have to figure out how to explain it might not fit the idea of this wiki.
Establishing work on this wiki began late November 2024 and will continue through the public soft launch planned for either late December or else January 2025. In the interim, interested participants are invited to register accounts and leave comments, requests for information to be added, sources to be included, etc. on the respective talk pages. If there's an article you'd like to see but a page for it doesn't exist yet, you can leave a comment on User_talk:Breadpan

FYI: If you make a new account right now, you can't create or edit any articles – you can only create and edit talk pages. This will remain in place for now since this Wiki hasn't officially launched, but if you're coming from the Patreon preview and want access, leave a note on my talk page and we'll take a look. (The medium-term idea is users will contribute suggested information to the talk page for senior users to incorporate into the article, until we all have a consistent idea of what we want these things to look like.)
