New Prefix

  • Group 1: B4→AN

E6 activity

  • The DCRP has a recording of a 19:10 message from "OSWALD", more likely ARC WELD.[Note 1] This was probably E6 AE0414.[1]

Notes

  1. The DCRP also illuminates NEET INTEL's understanding at that point as to the source of these rebroadcasts: "The signal's weaker PROBABLY because it is being broadcast from a station farther away than others came from. Well, PROBABLY is an exaggeration. A lot of things can influence how well a signal is received. Shortwave can be tricky. Either way, this whole "forwarding" station / repeater with a different callsign isn't unusual for the USAF even though I've not posted much. I'd guess it happens way more often than I've noticed. You'd have to be listening to several antennas across the world to be sure you didn't miss. But since you're just listening in for the chance to hear a repeat of an EAM you just heard, I don't think there's a worthwhile payoff for that effort..."
