I am pretty sure everyone expected today to be the day of Russia invading Ukraine because they figured the Russians would have a thing with numbers and 220222 would be too good to pass up, etc. (Also, when did the Olympics end? There was a running theory, I think even carried in mainstream media, that the Russians would hesitate to disrupt the geopolitical stasis until that event ended.
